The Assigned Numbers are a living document that lists assigned numbers, codes and identifiers in the Bluetooth wireless standard. Assigned numbers include:
- BD_ADDR values assigned by the IEEE - to obtain a block of BDADDRs please goto http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/oui/
- LMP_CompID, TCS Company ID and Device/Vendor ID values are assigned by the Bluetooth Specification Program Manager. When requesting values, please answer the following questions:
- Company information (legal name of company, address, phone, fax).
- Name of Company's primary contact (name, phone, fax, email, company url and postal address).
- A statement that the company is a current Bluetooth SIG member in good standing.
- A statement that the company is developing a unique implementation of LM protocol (or TCS).
- Brief Description of your company and the implementation you are seeking company ID for.
- Please indicate whether you are requesting LMP_CompID, TCS Company ID or Device/Vendor ID. To see a complete listing of all LMP_CompID, TCS Company IDs or Device/Vendor ID, please refer to the Company Identifiers.
- Other number requests will be reviewed by the Bluetooth Architectural Review Board (BARB); please send requests to the BARB Chair with requestor, company and contact information.
